</html>";s:4:"text";s:9784:"<br>Immersive experience technologies provided a way to teach complex concepts visually and motivate users who otherwise struggled with traditional learning methods. <br> <br>Although the advance of automation and artificial intelligence may feel like a losing battle to some, individuals will need to focus on developing the uniquely human skills identified in this research, such as originality, fluency of ideas, and active listening. But in the face of increasing inequality, the high consumer cost of green energy could slow demand and job growth. As virtual, augmented and mixed reality technologies entered the mainstream, so industries such as healthcare, tourism and sports to education and manufacturing began to seek workers with Wilson's skills. Due to robust demand for green construction, labour shortages have emerged. In the UK, skills related to systems-oriented thinking (i.e., the ability to recognize, understand, and acton complex sets of information), such as judgment, decision-making, systems analysis, and systems evaluation also feature prominently. At the other extreme is India: a fast-growing developing country with relatively modest potential for automation over the next 15 years, reflecting low wage rates. Over the past three decades, labor markets around the world have become increasingly integrated. As the pace of change accelerates, learners will demand more ways to convert learning to earning. This includes restoring now-waning labor mobility in advanced economies. See Implications for more information on the skills that will be in demand, by occupation group. More permanent policies to supplement work incomes might be needed to support aggregate demand and ensure societal fairness. And many of them are not content with a greasy pizza in a crumpled box but expect greater variety and quality. As the economic centre of gravity shifts towards the emerging world, supported by a burgeoning middle class, so opportunities may open up in areas such as knowledge-intensive services and advanced manufacturing where UK and US exporters enjoy a comparative advantage. But this would be a mistake. It is now critical to reverse these trends, with governments making workforce transitions and job creation a more urgent priority. We know that occupations and their skill requirements are not set in stone. New demand could be created for up to 80 million jobs in the trendline scenario and, in the event of accelerated investment, up to 200 million more in the step-up scenario.
